Eye lash lengthening
LATISSE® (bimatoprost ophthalmic solution) is a revolutionary prescription only eye lash lengthening serum which is licenced by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in US as well as Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) in UK. It is popular for inadequate or not enough eyelashes also known as eyelash hypotrichosis. It stimulates the growth of fuller and darker eyelashes.
Although LATISSE® is a treatment for inadequate or not enough eyelashes, it was originally developed for glaucoma through years of research by Allergan, a pharmaceutical leader with expertise in eye care products. It was found to increase lash growth when applied to the lid margin.

Technique
The product is supplied in 3ml bottles with brush applicators used to apply the solution to the upper eyelash roots once daily.
How long does the treatment last?
The results may vary from one person to another and in general can take up to 16 weeks for maximum effect to be noticed. Most clients see more eye lash length in as little as 4 weeks with full growth occurring at 16 weeks. The effect of treatment usually lasts up to 6 months. If discontinued, lashes will gradually return to their previous appearance.
