Fat dissolving
Aqualyx is a fat dissolving treatment which is used to help dissolve fat deposits.
It is good for targeting stubborn fat deposits easily without having to resort to surgery. Stubborn areas of fat can remain despite exercise and diet regimes. Fat dissolving injections into these areas can help.

Aqualyx contains deoxycholic-acid which is a chemical naturally produced in our bodies (by the gallbladder), deoxycholic-acid normally helps us digest fat in our diet. When injected into the fat under the skin, Aqualyx binds to fat cells and breaks them down.
What can I expect following fat dissolving treatment?
Bruising and redness may occur and it is best to avoid touching the skin for 24 hours. Vigorous exercise, sauna and swimming are also best avoided for 24 hours. A mild discomfort may be felt for which Paracetamol can be taken.
What are the risks of fat dissolving treatment?

How long do the effects last?
Fat dissolving treatments may need to be repeated depending on the volume of fat. Treating a double chin may require 1 – 2 treatments; however, treating hips or thighs may need 5 – 6 treatments to achieve the desired result.
